The name Whiskey Pickles came about with Ricky being gifted a jar of pickles with whiskey replacing the standard dill. When he asked Doc and Alan if they would like to try a Whiskey Pickle... Alan said I think we have a band name!! And it defines the band well. The band has existed for a year now and is branching out to performing at new venues making a name for themselves and currently pursuing their own brand of original music which will lead to a CD. It's been a fun and rewarding trip so far and there is a high likelyhood the band will expand perhaps with a piano and horn player.  It's just the beginning with this talented trio. If you come out to see them bring your dancing shoes. You'll be needing them.
